At Dodo Glass Works, we believe that every business has a responsibility to make a positive difference in the community it serves.
Our products are inspired by the beauty, wildlife, and heritage of Mauritius. As we developed the Dodo Glass Works brand, we wanted our success to contribute to something meaningful. That is why we created the Hearts for Paws Initiative.
Our original vision was to establish the Hearts for Paws Foundation. However, after meeting dedicated animal welfare organisations in Mauritius, we realised that the greatest impact would come from supporting the experienced NGOs already working tirelessly to rescue, feed, treat, sterilise, rehabilitate, and rehome abandoned and stray dogs.
Rather than creating another charity, we chose to partner with organisations that have the knowledge, experience, and infrastructure to make an immediate and lasting difference.
Through the Hearts for Paws Initiative, Dodo Glass Works will donate MUR 10 from every qualifying product sold to selected animal welfare NGO partners in Mauritius. These contributions will help provide food, veterinary care, shelter, sterilisation programmes, rehabilitation, and opportunities for adoption.
The initiative will officially begin when qualifying products become available for sale. From that point onward, every qualifying purchase will help support our NGO partners and the vital work they do.
Transparency is one of our core values. To provide our customers with confidence, Etika Financial Services will independently verify that the MUR 10 contribution from every qualifying product sold is accurately calculated and donated to our selected NGO partners. This independent verification ensures that every qualifying purchase delivers the support we promise.
